1 to 1 and Small Group Personal Training

Grow in ability and confidence under my guidance

Working closely together, we will review your current situation with regards to fitness and nutrition, explore your goals and set realistic targets for you to achieve the changes you want to see.

 

You can either work with me on a 1 to 1 basis - at your home or in my studio.

 

Or you can gather a small group (6 max) of friends or family and enjoy working out together that way.

 

Both 1 to 1 and small group PT options can also be held online, connecting different households if required very effectively. 

My programming for Personal Fitness Coaching involves both Strength Training and elements of Cardio Training. Together I will help you grow in ability, learning the key skills for strength training, helping you grow in confidence, leaving you with that feel-good factor, you'll feel strong!

 


Strength Training

All Personal  Fitness Coaching programmes include personalised strength training, something I'm passionate about.

Strength or resistance training brings the following key benefits:

  • Builds muscle and bone strength, essential as we grow older

  • Fires up your metabolism and so reduces body fat

  • Helps you feel mentally stronger​

  • Protects your body from injury

  • Improves sport performance

  • Reduces anxiety, making you feel calmer and better equipped to deal with stress

  • Improvements in joint strength, posture, confidence and self-esteem

Cardio Training

Programmes will also include an element of pulse-raising cardio, for example, high intensity intervals, boxing, hill running, which is so beneficial for our cardiovascular and respiratory systems, firing up our mitochondria, our cell powerhouses. 

  • Releases endorphins

  • Boosts mood and alleviates stress

  • Aids weight loss and control

  • Aids sleep patterns

  • Reduces risk of heart diseases

  • Increases Basal Metabolic Rate and influences post exercise calorie burning (especially so for Interval Training)

  • Can lower blood pressure

  • Helps to regulate blood sugar
